Waste heat boiler is a highly efficient and energy-saving equipment, which is specially used to recover the waste heat (such as high-temperature flue gas, exhaust gas, steam, etc.) generated in the industrial production process and convert it into usable thermal energy (such as steam, hot water or electricity).

It is widely used in metallurgy, chemical industry, cement, glass, petroleum and other industries, which can not only significantly reduce energy consumption, but also reduce greenhouse gas emissions. It is one of the key equipment for realising green transformation in the industrial field.

Tunnel Waste Heat Boiler (TWHB) is based on the fundamental principles of thermodynamics and heat transfer. It is designed to efficiently capture residual heat from high-temperature flue gases emitted during industrial processes and convert it into reusable thermal energy, such as hot water or steam. This enhances overall energy utilization and reduces energy costs.

The tunnel-type structure ensures uniform flow of flue gas along a linear path, resulting in well-defined heat transfer zones and high heat recovery efficiency. Typically installed downstream of incinerators, drying kilns, or other continuous heat-emitting equipment, the system features membrane water walls capable of withstanding flue gas temperatures up to 1200°C. These walls offer twice the resistance to sulfur corrosion and a service life of 15 years or more. The modular design supports steam production capacities ranging from 5 to 200 tons per hour, meeting the rapid capacity expansion demands of industries such as chemicals and petrochemicals. 

Its core function is to transfer the sensible heat of flue gases to a water medium via heat exchangers, thereby generating steam. The resulting steam can be used for industrial processes, heating, or power generation. Compared to traditional boilers, the tunnel-type structure offers advantages such as ease of maintenance, compact layout, and strong adaptability.

This system is widely used in waste incineration, construction material kilns, metallurgical high-temperature processes, and other continuous heat emission scenarios—making it an ideal solution for green, low-carbon energy recovery.
