This system is designed to treat process off-gas from a pharmaceutical company's workshop, with concentrations ranging from 1000 to 5000 mg/Nm3 and a flow rate of 30,000 Nm3/h. The off-gas in this industry is characterized by large fluctuations in concentration and rapid fluctuation rates. Ruiding's uniquely designed regenerative thermal oxidizer (RTO) system efficiently and flexibly addresses the characteristics and contents of the off-gas.

The off-gas enters the heat storage chamber through the flame arrester, where it is preheated to around 760°C, before entering the thermal oxidation chamber for complete oxidation and decomposition. At this point, the temperature of the flue gas reaches around 800°C, and the organic components in the off-gas are completely oxidized and decomposed. According to the heat balance situation, the generated flue gas enters another set of heat storage chambers to exchange heat with the heat storage ceramic fillers. Due to fluctuations in the off-gas concentration, when the concentration is high and there is excess heat, a portion of the high-temperature flue gas enters the G-L heat exchanger for heat exchange to ensure that the bottom of the heat storage body does not overheat. After heat exchange, the combined flue gas enters the secondary spray scrubber for acid removal and defogging before being discharged into the atmosphere through the chimney.

This unit mainly consists of a three-chamber heat storage incinerator, spray tower, fan, chimney, and other equipment. During normal operation, it can completely avoid consuming natural gas and rely on the waste gas's own heat to maintain the oxidation temperature.

 

This project completed equipment installation on February 19, 2023, and equipment handover on March 23, 2023.
