Electric steam boilers operate on the principle of resistive heating: electric current passes through high-efficiency heating elements (typically 304 stainless steel or high-temperature alloy), converting electrical energy directly into heat energy to boil water and produce steam.

Their integrated control system (often PLC-based) automatically regulates water supply, heating power, and pressure:

When steam pressure drops below the set value, the system activates heating elements to maintain output;
When water levels are low, the feed pump triggers automatically to prevent dry burning;
Overpressure protection valves and temperature sensors ensure safe, stable operation.

The compact design (available in vertical/horizontal/combination types) optimizes space usage, while modular heating elements enable flexible capacity adjustment—supporting steam outputs from 5kg/h to 6000kg/h to match diverse load demands.
