Carbon Fiber Off-Gas Treatment RTO + TO 62700Nm³/h

This off-gas treatment system was designed and produced by RUIDING for a famous company in carbon fiber industry. This off-gas treatment system includes regenerative thermal oxidizers (RTO), direct-fired thermal oxidizers (TO), waste heat recovery systems, and related control systems.

The low-concentration off-gas produced by low-carbon and high-carbonincinerator process through a five-chamber regenerative thermal oxidizers(RTO) for high-temperature decomposition, reaching approximately 900°C, where organic components are completely oxidized and decomposed.The high-temperature flue gas is then discharged through regenerative ceramics. After combustion, the flue gas is preheated to 180°C~200°C using an air preheater, recovering heat, and then sent out through the buyer's chimney via an induced draft fan.

The high-concentration off-gas produced by low-carbon and high-carbonincinerator process throughwater-cooled wall direct-fired thermal oxidizers (TO).By supplementing fuel and air, the waste gas combustion temperature exceeds 900°C, and the waste gas undergoes high-temperature decomposition. The high-temperature section of the direct-fired furnace flue gas passes through superheaters, evaporators, economizers, and bag filters, and is then sent out through an induced draft fan for emission compliance.

The RTO waste gas treatment capacity is 60,000 Nm³/h, achieving standard emissions while preheating 42,000 Nm³/h of waste gas to 180°C for use in the front-end carbon fiber production line. TO treats 1,600 Nm³/h of low-carbon waste gas and 1,100 Nm³/h of high-carbon waste gas, with a by-product of 3.7t/h of 2.3MpaG 300°C superheated steam available for external sale, generating significant economic benefits.

The first line of this EPC project started one-time feeding and operation in October 2020, achieving fully compliant emissions and officially entering production operation.
